Vienna’s first green upscale hotel sets the precedent for the future of the city, while honoring its rich artistic past. Located in the historic 1st district, Hotel Topazz combines landmark architecture with a holistic, resource-saving philosophy that starts with low-energy usage and carries through to locally-sourced food and the use of green building materials. Surrounded by the most sought after attractions – including more than 60 museums, cathedrals, churches, luxury shopping, wining, dining and famous coffee houses – the hotel pays tribute to Vienna’s artistic heritage of the late 19th and early 20th century. Its name, cylindrical form and staggered large oval windows draws influence from a silver vase, studded with amber gems, made by iconic Viennese artist Koloman Moser.
