Almost two thirds of Germans oppose Turkey's accession to the European Union, according to a survey published Sunday in the German newspaper Bild am Sonntag, the same day that Chancellor Angela Merkel begins two-day visit to Ankara. According to the survey conducted by Emnid Institute, 60% of respondents said they oppose Turkey's entry into the European Union, 30% are for, and the remaining 10% were not pronounced.
