Vertu Releases Constellation Candy Smartphone Collection in 3 Color Versions
Vertu, the British luxury phone makers are known for their extravagant cell phones. Their bespoke creations are often credited with the tag of the most expensive in the category. They have recently released a collection of new Constellation Candy touch screen smart phones. The wonderful phones have been finished in colors that indicate that the collection has been designed targeting the rich and the chic ladies who are fussy about everything they use.
The collection was unveiled at the inaugural Vogue Festival hel on the 20th and 21st of April 2012 at the Royal Geographic Society. In fact Vertu was the main partner of this fashionable event.
The phones in the collection have a distinct feminine look as they come in bold summer tones like tangerine, mint green and raspberry. It is not just the color but each phone has been embellished with 0.34 carats of gemstones that have been carefully selected and individually set to create intricate designs on the face of the phone.
The gemstones for a particular phone have been selected to suit its body color. Orange sapphires have been used to embellish the Tangerine Candy. Similarly Tsavorites have been used to enhance the Mint Green Candy and rubies highlight the Raspberry Candy. Only three versions have been made of the Vertu Constellation Candy.
The exclusive smart phone features a comfortably large 3.5-inch HD multi-touch sapphire crystal screen. The other high end fearures available in the phone are an 8-megapixel camera, as well as Vertu’s high fidelity sound system. The phones in the new collection are perfect examples of high-end technology combining with thorough craftsmanship. The back of the phones are encased with top notch alligator skin.
The phones come with their slip cases which are also decorated with intricate alligator skin textures. The phones priced at $9,500 per unit come with access to global fashion weeks. The phones are loaded with the signature Vertu Concierge and style-linked services. The owners of the phones will also be entitled VIP personalized styling in London, at Stella McCartney’s.
