Beaulieu House: A £12 million Property Where Can Drive an Aston Martin to the Ist Floor
If you are interested in buying a property at a place where you value your privacy more than anything else, you would love the Beaulieu House .
This could be your dream house that not only looks gorgeous but is also perfect where you could just walk on to your boat from the front door. The exotic -roundhouse has hit the market of luxury real estate for a staggering £12 million.
Even after half a century, the house looks exceptional with ten acres of garden, a lake, 18 meter pontoon on the river Beaulieu in Hampshire, England. The fantasy house is designed in such a way by the architect; the owner could drive the Aston Martin car straight into the first floor for parking. Architect Seymour Harris designed the house in 1960s. During this period the neighbors seemed to be shocked who were not accustomed to imaginative and fanciful style.
Night Harris estate agent, James Crawford also agrees with the startlingly unusual nature of the property. He hopes somebody would come and buy on the spot the amazingly unique house. The house is called by name Tukal which is a traditional roundhouse of Ethiopia. Mr. Harris was commissioned to design the plan for dream city which never materialized.
The Tukal consists of a huge space with curved wall of glass called ballroom, cinema and swimming pool. The lacking of the Tukal is it neither has gigantic underground chamber or heliport. The pontoon is on a 99 –year lease but the house is free hold. At present owner of the Tukal is Mike Browne who is moving to a cozier property. He is a founder of Snow+Rock chain which deals with equipments of ski and sports.
