Absolut Vodka Releases Limited Edition Crystal Pinstripe Bottle

When two players who are leaders in their respective fields come together to collaborate on a project, the results are often stunning. Absolut Vodka is no doubt a global brand that has created its own benchmark in making and marketing of vodka. In 2010 it had teamed up with Swedish design duo Skogsberg & Smart and together they had come up with the rock crystal cut Absolut bottle which was highly appreciated around the world. The grand success of the limited edition vodka has encouraged the company to repeat the partnership experiment in order to create another masterpiece.

They have come together again to create the next generation limited edition crystal bottles. Because of their earlier success the expectation levels were very high and the project had received a lot of publicity. The bottles have been crafted by centuries old Swedish glassmaker Reijmyre. The bottle design has been inspired the heritage of Savile Row’s iconic pinstripe tailoring and each individual piece has been hand blown, hand cut and hand engraved for the pinstripe effect. The Pinstripe Bottle comes in an exclusive handmade treasure chest along with two matching tumblers.

The bottles have been crafted with great care and each one of them has been numbered and signed by the master craftsman following approval. The limited edition production plan will see only 800 of the clear crystal bottles being released for sale. Ten pieces will be made in black crystal also.

The clear crystal bottle has been priced at $1,500 and the black crystal bottle will cost you as much as $10,000. The bottles presented in the pin-striped, fabric-lined clad box with two matching crystal tumblers are being distributed for sale through selected airport duty-free stores and luxury retailers.
