Tete de Femme (Jacqueline) by Picasso Expected to Fetch £4 Million
Picasso has been one of the most prolific painters and artists from the 20th century. He defined what modernism is all about and set the stage for future painters who have drawn inspiration from his works and even learned to paint his works in order to learn the intricacies of painting.
Tete de Femme (Jacqueline) was the portrait of his second wife that was rarely seen in public. In fact it was last seen in 1967 and has remained in private collection since 1981. The painting comes with humorously exaggerated features, and Picasso certainly had a sense of humour when paint8ing his own wife. The painting is now expected to fetch an astounding amount of £4 million.
However, it must be noted that Picasso has always been a man of gold, and all that he painted has turned more expensive tan gold. If you are a serious art connoisseur, you really should go ahead and get this painting before anyone else does. Who knows, you might even be able to sell it for a higher price when you need to buy an expensive estate in the middle of France.
