The automobile manufacturers, particularly in Europe, often try their designing skills at creating other modes of transport. Their focus has often been on bicycles and they have designed some great bikes over the years. BMW, Audi, McLaren and Porsche have been designing and producing bikes for years now. Porsche has recently designed two new bikes in its Driver’s Selection range. The new models have been named the Bike RS and the Bike S. Both the models have 29-inch wheels and have been made with lightweight materials to enhance performance. Bike RS weighs in at around 9kg. The weight has been restricted to a low level due to the extensive use of carbon fiber in the frame, forks, handlebars, stem and seat post.
