The luxury amenities includes a custom-designed Pininfarina Morphosis jacuzzi tub, oversize walk-in shower with overhead rain fixtures and an upgraded B&O entertainment system with 2 Flat Panel HDTVs.

Internationally acclaimed chef Gordon Ramsay is best known for his dining empire. Having a Gordon Ramsay restaurant has always been a major attraction with the luxury hotels. Now from overseeing all dining to doing the interiors, the Michelin-starred Chef has descended to the Keating Hotel in San Diego (featured in “Hotel Hell”) for custom designing its Viceroy suite.

The premiere Boutique Luxury Hotel in San Diego's historic downtown Gaslamp District is already known for its Pininfarina interiors- the same guys who have designed Ferrari and Maserati. And now the hotel has roped in Gordon Ramsay to add his magical touch to its premium suite. The revamped Gordon Ramsay Viceroy suite features a separate living-room area with wet bar complete with seating and dining areas.

 The Merk bistro
Besides the revamped suite and redoing the lobby, Ramsay is also said to have completely changed the menu at the hotel's Merk bistro, an Italian restaurant. Some of the new dishes now include a Cavatelli-Red wine braised veal with parmesan cheese; pan seared local seabass with Carlsbad mussels, and lavender panna cotta with hazelnut brittle.

The Victory Suite rates start at about $1,100 a night.
