Ladies considering a change of hair color will be glad to hear about the new app from L’Oréal Paris which acts as a personal color consultant. Called My L’Oréal Colorist, the mobile app initially prompts users to either ‘Scan a Shade’ or ‘Find a Shade.’ The first option lets consumers use their mobile device to scan the barcode of the L’Oréal Paris shade they are interested. ‘Find a Shade’ allows both at-home and on-the-go users to dive into a short questionnaire before receiving their personal shade recommendation. My L’Oréal Colorist allows users to consult consumer ratings and reviews, as well as providing the chance to share their recommended shade on Facebook to get feedback from friends before making a decision.
