Maldives boasts of several underwater treats and to that long list is now added the world’s first underwater spa.  The Huvafen Fushi luxury resort on the island state has opened the undersea spa and has recently expanded its list of offerings.  The cutely names spa, ‘Lime’ has a new set of treatments christened Lose It, Tone It, Stress Buster and Cellulite Therapy. It took over 12 months to create this underwater retreat. Five inches thick solid cast resin has been used. This material provides a sturdy structure and gives a much clearer view than the cheaper laminated glasses. The resin also causes least possible disturbance to the surrounding ecosystem.
