The Dolce&Gabbana Animalier Bike is for ladies only and was born of Domenico Dolce & Stefano Gabbana ’s passion for the athletic and healthy lifestyle. Applying their magic touch this time to a bicycle, Dolce&Gabbana swathes the frame in leopard print, the emblem of their style. The Animalier bicycle aims to impress with fine detailing, and a vintage feel. The mechanics of the bike as well as the style are taken from the traditional artisan process: there are no gears, the wheel has 18 radii and the rear and head lights are pedal activated. Ferrari to Recall 458 Italia After Thermal Incidents

In the recent past we have seen several high profile brands having to recall their faulty products. First it was Toyota then it was Apple and now Ferrari has announced that it is recalling its latest super car, the 458 Italia, after several “thermal incidents” in the US as well as Britain, Europe and China. Simply put, the cars have been catching fire. The initial investigation has revealed that the culprit is the glue used to protect the wheel arch from the exhaust pipe. It melts under extreme heat conditions. Ferrari had started investigating the incidents soon after the incidents were reported. And the recall will pinch one of the most enduring luxury brands on the planet that has now grown beyond cars in to areas like watches, glasses and even bikes. Splinter Bike Quantum Created on the Occasion of 2012 London Olympics

At the Power of Making exhibition last year at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, one of the major attractions was an all wooden bike named the Splinter Bike. Michael Thompson the creator of the wooden bike was encouraged by the tremendous response and created a second version also that created a speed record for a bike in its category.  The 2012 London Olympics is a really special event particularly for the Londoners and Michael Thompson has built a special Splinter Bike Quantum (SBQ ) edition for the occasion. It is an improved version of the basic model with a more advanced gearing setup and adjustable seat height. The bike was launched and put up on display at the Adain Avion event at the London 2012 Festival. The visitors would be able to mount and ride the all wooden bike.
