Yayoi Kusama and Louis Vuitton Collaborate on New Levels



The shared passion for creativity between Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama and Louis Vuitton’s creative director Marc Jacobs resulted in visually stimulating art. Kusama and Louis Vuitton will collaborate on several artworks which are going to be showcased in Bond Street Maison’s exhibition space. Those who are big fans of polka dots might be excited to get a first released collection. as I’m a great admirer of red/white combination influenced by Minnie Mouse, I find it very difficult to wait till July 10th of 2012.


The debut collection known as ‘infinitely Kusuma’ would be released earlier to the art exhibition displayed by Yayoi Kusama at Whitney museum in New York City. The customers need not worry about their collection which will be arrived in second release in stores in October. The collection features Kusama’s famous prints and polka dots against jewelry, watches, accessories, shoes, ready-to-wear and iconic leather goods of Louis Vuitton brand.




She has her identity as a female artist in a male-dominated society, that too as a Japanese contemporary artist in the domain of Western art world. Marc Jacobs is impressed a lot by her artwork through which she shared her world with others in London at Tate modern between Feb 9th 2012 and June 5th 2012. The art work over the span of six decades was highlighted. Yayoi Kusam the princess of Polka dots is known for her repeating dot patterns.




The versatile artist embraces a variety of media including immersive installation, sculpture, film, drawing, painting, and performance. She is also known for her poetry, and street performing.
