BMW X9 CONCEPT
BMW has seen some rather odd looking cars roll off the production line over the past 10 years, but Khalfi Oussama's new X9 off-roader concept coupe takes oddball Beemers to a whole new level.
The 18-year-old designer hasn't offered any information about his concept that could be a proposal for a new Batmobile, but since he hails from the sandy desert landscape of Tunisia in
northern Africa, it's fair to say that this is the equivalent of a modern day dune buggy. The X9 Concept blends the sporty bodylines of a coupe with the rolling stock of an off-roader - much like BMW's chunky yet sporty-looking X6
soft-roader.

::: Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG E-Cell :::
Unlike the regular fossil fuel powered SLS AMG its electric sibling Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG E-Cell is powered by four electric engines. One for each wheel of this exotic two-seater coupe. The result is a supercar with 526 horse power and 649 lb- ft of torque. Thats 10% less power than in a 6.3 liter V-8 SLS AMG engine. This allows SLS AMG E- Cell to accelerate from 0-62 mph in 4.0 seconds, slightly slower than 3.8 seconds in regular SLS. The 0-130 mph acceleration fits in 12 seconds. Currently the plans are to start selling SLS AMG E- Cell by late 2012 or by early 2013, a few months later than its most fierceful rival - Audi's E-Tron (electric supercar based on Audi R8). The expected price is $50,000 to $100,000 over the petrol powered SLS AMG. E-Cell is a limited production supercar and it will not be available to the masses. Only a few hand-picked celebrities and famous people will be offered to buy one.

#1,012 hp at 5,600 rpm: 8.0-liter, OHV, 20-valve V10, twin turbo. Bristol shoves two turbos under the hood of its awkward-looking Fighter to just about double the output of its Viper-based V10. Beyond that big horsepower number, Bristol claims the Fighter produces 1,036 lb-ft of peak torque at 4,500 rpm.

::: Ferrari 599 hybrid :::
Ferrari 599 hybrid aka Ferrari 599 HY-KERS is the first Ferrari to go green. It's still a supercar in it's whole glory, but together with a 6.0L V12 petrol engine it contains an electric motor, which can run the hybrid Ferrari totally on it's own
or simply add another 100bhp to the already staggering Ferrari's 620bhp power. A combination of these two motors pulls the car forward with around 750Nm which is 150Nm more copared to the Ferrari 599. Electric motor is connected through
one of the two clutches and is capable generaing electric power once the Ferrari 599 hybrid is de-accelerating or braking. The power is stored in two very slim lithium-ion batteries which are under an inch thick (about 2cm) and those batteries are hidden below the passengers compartment. with the help of 7-speed DSG gearbox Ferrari 599 HY-KERS is capable of accelerating to more than 200mph (320km/h) and can speed up from 0mph  o 65mph (0-100km/h) in just 3.5 seconds or  0-125mph (0-200km/h) in just 10.4 seconds, that's 0.6s faster than a standard, petrol-only Ferrari 599. But the main advantage is the reduction of CO2 emission. EU requires that all new cars must reduce a CO2 emission to 140g/km or below till 2014 and with the help of the Ferrari hybrid technology, developed by engineers who previously worked on the KERS technology in Ferrari F1 team, 599 hybrid has cut it's carbon dioxide emission from 430g/km in 2007 down to 230g/km. That doesn't meet requirements yet, but is a huge step forward from Ferrari

Bugatti Electron Aerolithe 2025 Concept
The Bugatti Aerolithe design is a great concept that showcases the design elements that may inspire the cars of tomorrow. It's a great tribute to Ettore Bugatti, who was way ahead of his time when he launched the first Aerolithe.
The car is powered by a Microturbine-battery hybrid powertrain. Microturbines do not power the wheels directly and merely function as a generator to charge up the batteries on the run and acts as a range extender for an otherwise purely electric vehicle. A single fill of the tank can make this car run up to 800 miles.
Some of the key features of the design include aeronautics inspired split canopy doors, split windshield, pronounced windows, bullet proof windows, lightweight construction material and Bugatti's signature front grille.The underbody aerodynamics are an important feature of the design that allows two air channels to traverse the entire length of the body, funneling air from the front of the body to the diffuser at the rear, producing enough down force in the process to keep the car glued to the tarmac at high speeds.

 Mazda Taiki
The Mazda Taiki is a one-off concept car produced by Mazda, and is the fourth car in Mazda's 'Nagare' design series. Mazda says the Taiki "reflects one possible direction for a future generation of Mazda sports cars aimed at helping to create a sustainable society". Using 1600cc Wankel engine.
The exterior design is inspired by flowing robes and carp streamers. The Taiki has scissor doors and a very impressive drag coefficient of 0.25. Even the wheels and tires were designed with aerodynamics in mind. The interior colours are inspired by Yin and Yang. The driver's side of the cabin is black, while the passenger side is white.

2012 Pagani Huayra Carbon Edition
Aside from the carbon fiber extravaganza, the Huayra Carbon Edition maintains all of the standard Huayra’s luxurious amenities, including its twin-turbocharged V12 engine. This engine is good for 700 HP and 738 lb-ft of torque and in the standard model, will sprint the super car from 0 to 60mph in just 3.3 seconds up to a top speed of 230 mph.

2013 McLaren 12C Spider
The ultra-premium performance convertible features a unique Retractable Hard Top (RHT) that is operable at speeds up to 19 mph (30 km/h). It maintains the same carbon MonoCell body structure as the MP4-12C coupe.
The MP4-12C Spider comes with the same engine as the 2013 model-year coupe, utilizing a 3.8-litre V8 twin turbo engine to make 616-hp (625 PS) at 7,500 rpm and 4
42 lb-ft (600 Nm) of torque between 3,000 and 7,000 rpm. Mated to the same 7 Speed SSG dual-clutch transmission with rocker-mounted shift paddles, the powertrain allows for a 0-62 mph (100 km/h) sprint of just 3.1 seconds, which is the same as the coupe. However, it is 0.2 seconds slower to 124 mph (200km/h) and in completing the quarter mile (10.8 seconds). A top speed of 204 mph (329 km/h) is also a tad bit slower than the coupe’s 207 mph (333 km/h).

 The Ferrari F70
Enzo's successor!
It's rumored to have either a V12 engine or a turbocharged V8 that produces somewhere in the neighborhood of 700 horsepower. Either way, Forbes is pricing the “F70” at $870,000, which is about $200,000 more than what its predecessor – the Enzo.

 Custom build Alien Car!? (Not A Concept)
#Extra-Terrestrial Vehicle: A Chevy Aveo of the Third Kind.
The Extra-Terrestrial Vehicle or ETV -we're not even kidding, that's the car's official name- is a futuristic-looking custom build created by Mike Vetter and his Florida-based company, 'The Car Factory'. It's hard to believe it just by looking at the ETV, but underneath that sci-fi outfit you'll find a Chevrolet Aveo stripped out of its body but not its heart.
But even in the case that the Chevy Aveo is the donor car, the ETV will most likely alienate you with its 'out of this world' price. We discovered that the Florida-based company has listed a completed ETV on eBay with a 'Buy it Now' price of just... $86,000.

 SSC Tuatara
Price: $970,000
SSC Tuatara comes 9th on this list. Its predecessor, the Ultimate Aero was one of the fastest production cars in the world, so you can expect it to be speedy too. It would arrive in 2012. Powering this car is a 7.0-liter twin-turbo V8 and makes about 1,350-hp. This car weighs only 2,654 lbs. As claimed by SSC, it can hit 60 mph in 2.8 seconds and get to a top speed of 275 mph. This thing would put it ahead of the present top speed record holder, which is the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport.

2010 Rolls-Royce Ghost
# 563 hp at 5,250 rpm: 6.6-liter, DOHC, 48-valve V12. 575 lb-ft at 1,500 rpm. The “small” Rolls-Royce sedan is, of course, truly enormous. But the BMW-built 6.6-liter V12 does an admirable job of hauling its bulk around.
 :::: Lotus Elise Series 2 ::::
The British manufacturer Lotus Cars has a unique concept for sports car “performance through light weight.” Introduced in 2000, the Lotus Elise Series 2 definitely took the Lotus family to a whole new level.
Design: The Lotus Elise packs an aggressive design, despite it’s small frame. The car is 3,8 meters long and it weights less than a ton (from 860 to 910 kilogra
ms). It also comes with a fiberglass body shell.
Performance: Considering that the car features a modest 1.8-litre, 4-cylinders engine, one would not expect much, right? Wrong! This baby can go from 0-60 mph (0-100 km/h) in 4,7 seconds, and it has a top of speed of 150 mph (240 km/h). Given its light weight, you should also have a good time braking and cornering it.

OLDTIMERS :

 300SL Panamericana
The 300SL Panamericana is a remake of the legendary Mercedes 300SL of the 50s, it gives you the opportunity to drive the glorious classic with the same appeal as the original but with performance and the latest technical standard of the cars of today. American company GullWing America (GWA) from San Antonio - Texas has developed the 300SL Panamericana inspired by the mythic Mercedes 300 SL "Gullwing", many details of comfort were added to the new version, also added was a new 5.5-liter V8 and 408 hp engine turning the car into a pleasure and fun to drive.

 Mercedes-Benz 300SL (1954)
#top speed of up to 260 km/h (161 mph)
The Mercedes-Benz 300SL was introduced in 1954 as a two-seat, closed sports car with distinctive gull-wing doors. Later it was offered as an open roadster. It was the fastest production car of its day.

The 300SL was best known for both its distinctive gull wing doors and being the first-ever four-stroke car equipped with a gasoline direct injection.

 Pontiac Bonneville Special (1954)
#top speed of 120 mph.
The Pontiac Bonneville Special was a purpose-built concept car unveiled at the General Motors Motorama in 1954, the first 2-seater sports car Pontiac ever produced. The Special was an experimental car, a two door, grand touring sport coupé that incorporated innovative breakthrough styling like an all-plexi canopy with gull-wing panels on
a sleek fiberglass body.
The design of the Special drew its visual impetus from America's fascination with aeronautic and rocket design in the 1950s, employing a wind-tunnel inspired profile and high-tech bright work throughout the body, hood and grill. Glass covered recessed headlights, like those on the 1953 Corvette, two rows of louvers on the fenders and twin "silver-streaks"[2] on the hood that lead to functional air scoops were it's most distinguishing features.

 La Marquise: The oldest functioning car in the world.
The oldest functioning car is La Marquise, a steam-powered, four-wheeled, four-seater vehicle, manufactured by De Dion Bouton et Trépardoux (France) in 1884; three years later it won the world's first automobile race, powering along the 30.5-km (19-mile) track at an average of 42 km/h (26 mph) from Paris to Neuilly, France. La Marquise was sold at auction for $3,520,000 (£1,767,000) by Gooding & Co (USA), in Pebble Beach, California, USA on 19 August 2007.
The car is fueled by coal, wood and paper and takes approximately 30 minutes to warm up. It has a top speed of 61 km/h (38 mph).
The auction price includes the buyer's premium.
