Simple DIY Pine Cone Candle Holder

Image
If you want to add a fall spirit to your décor and don’t want to waste much time or money, here’s the way. For this simple pine cone candle holder you’ll need some pine cones, a small jar, a candle, double sided tape or hot glue and a thread. Stick the pine cones to the jar one after another and then very easily tie them with the thread. Try to find the pine cones that are quite of the same size. Put the candle inside and burn it but don’t leave it unattended because the dried pine cones may set on fire!   Source : sheepy

World View Designer Daniel Sachs gave a classic Park Avenue apartment an antique and global appeal, even in the young boy's bedroom. Ways To Transform Living Room

Image
Transforming the look of your living room entirely might be costly but some small things can make a lot of impact. Look around and try to change one thing you don’t like about your living room and maybe try rearranging the furniture or changing the curtains and rugs. Accentuate Windows Change the curtains, add shutters or add trim work to the windows to accentuate them. Window is often the focal point of the room so by focusing more attention on it will make the focal point stronger and give you something to base your decor around. Change Sofa An old creaking sofa is not the best decor element so repair it if you can but if not replace with a new one. It doesn’t have to be expensive. Buy a simple but good quality sofa and have it reupholstered to suit your living room or even to brighten it up. Armchairs The same can be done to the old armchairs. You could also replace them with a couch, chairs, pouffs and other furniture items to make the space more effective and interesting. Crea

Pop Art In Living Room

Image
Decorating living with pop art is quite easy. It’s also a great way to spruce up neutral or dull decor. Choose the theme and color palette of your pop art picture that will suit your living room’s color scheme. Try to be consistent with colors when decorating with pop art or keep the room neutral. Focal Point Hang a pop art artwork of choice on the feature wall to create a bright focal point in the room. It wil draw attention but if the rest of the room will be entirely neutral it might also look out of place so add a few bright accents to the rest of the room. Decorate Empty Walls If you just want to fill in the empty walls in the living room opt for bigger framed pictures and arrange them so they look good together. You can also choose a one big picture to fill an empty wall. Echo The Colors For a more consistent look you could echo the colors from pop art piece in your living room decor or choose the contrasting clashing colors in furniture or accents like throw pillows.

The Torre de Filarete, on the nearside (70m/231ft high), is a reproduction (1905) of the original gate-tower.  History The street plan of Milan, with streets either radiating from the Duomo or circling it, indicates that the Duomo occupied the most important site in the ancient Roman city of Mediolanum. Saint Ambrose built a new basilica on this site at the beginning of the 5th century, with an adjoining basilica added in 836. When fire damaged both buildings in 1075, they
